Cahersiveen, Cathair Saidhbhín, had 1,297 people at Census 2022 and Waterville, An Coireán, had 555. Both are on the N70, the Ring of Kerry. Valentia Island, Dairbhre, is joined to the mainland by the Maurice O'Neill Memorial Bridge at Portmagee, built in 1970, and from April to October a car ferry crosses from Reenard Point to Knightstown in about 5 minutes. V23 is the routing key for the area.

Can you deliver a trampoline to Valentia Island?+
Yes. Valentia Island is on our delivery list, and the island is reached by road over the bridge at Portmagee, so it is an ordinary road delivery.
How wet is it out here?+
Met Éireann's Valentia Observatory had the highest annual rainfall of any station every year from 2022 to 2025, peaking at 1,944.6 mm in 2023. BERG says not to jump on a wet mat. For a sunken trampoline, drainage is the first thing an installer checks.
Is the weather station on Valentia an old one?+
Very. Met Éireann records that the first real-time weather observation in Ireland was sent from Valentia Island on 8 October 1860, and the World Meteorological Organization lists Valentia Observatory as a centennial observing station.
Will the lorry manage the Ring of Kerry roads?+
Yes, we deliver right round the Ring with Garyowen Transport. Pallet lorries are bigger than parcel vans, so tell us when you order if the house is down a narrow road or at the end of a long unpaved lane.
It is for a holiday home. What should we think about?+
Who will look after it when the house is empty. Take the safety net and padding off before you leave, or choose an in-ground model sold without a net. Tell us which dates you are there and we will arrange delivery for then.
